Carnegie Mellon President Subra Suresh told NPR that, with the $10 million gift from K&L Gates LLP, the university can dive into emerging issues in automated industries.
"Take driverless cars," Dr. Suresh said. "If there's an accident involving a driverless car, what policies do we have in place? What kind of insurance coverage do they have? And who needs to take insurance?"
